Bring Your Own Patch Artwork

Already have the design locked in? Good. Skip the artwork line and go straight to production.

Some people need help getting from zero to patch. Others show up with a fully loaded file, a commissioned piece from a killer artist, or a heritage insignia that's been in the unit for decades — and all they need is someone to execute it right.

That's what Submit a Finalized Design is for. Think of it as BYO Art. You bring the file, we bring the production. No creative process, no redesign, no waiting on back-and-forth. Just your artwork on a patch, exactly the way it's supposed to look.

Drop your file. Get a free preview. Approve it. We ship it.

You've earned the right to skip the design phase

Maybe you paid a real artist to build something custom. Maybe your unit has a graphic designer on deck who knocked it out of the park. Maybe you've been sitting on a finished file for months and just need a vendor who won't butcher it in production.

All valid. Submit a Finalized Design is the path for:

  • Artwork commissioned from a graphic designer or illustrator
  • Files built by a unit or department artist
  • Existing insignia or heritage designs in digital format
  • Logos or branding ready to be translated into a patch
  • Designs from a previous vendor you're done with
  • Personal or morale patch art that's already dialed in

Production-ready file? We move fast. File needs minor cleanup to translate correctly? Our team handles that at no charge. Either way, you're not starting from scratch.

What to send us

Vector files are the gold standard — AI, EPS, or SVG gives us the cleanest edges and the most accurate production result. High-res PNG or PDF works too. Not sure if your file qualifies? Send it anyway. We'll tell you straight and sort out anything that needs fixing before it goes to production.

A few things that help:

  • Vector format where possible for sharp, scalable edges
  • 300 DPI minimum for raster files
  • Pantone or thread color callouts if you have them
  • Your preferred patch dimensions

If you don't have all of that, don't let it slow you down. Send what you've got and we'll take it from there.

Match the patch type to your art

Your artwork will help point us toward the right patch type. We'll make the recommendation, but here's how they break down:

3D PVC
Bold, layered designs with strong lines and depth. Best for tactical gear — plate carriers, go-bags, flight suits. UV printing included at no additional charge.

Embroidered
The classic. Clean logos, bold shapes, heritage insignia. Best for dress uniforms and ceremonial gear where the stitched look is part of the point.

Sublimated
Your art has gradients, photorealistic detail, or colors that thread physically cannot reproduce. Sublimation prints it all — what's in the file is what's on the patch.

Woven
Ultra-fine thread, flat finish, razor-sharp detail. The right call for intricate artwork that needs precision over texture.

You still get a free preview — no exceptions

Even with production-ready art, nothing gets made until you sign off on a free digital preview. We show you exactly how your design translates — colors, dimensions, construction. If something's off, we fix it first. Your art, your approval, your patch.

Backed the same as everything else we make

Fighter pilot owned since 2017. USA based. Every order — whether you came to us with a napkin sketch or a production-ready vector — ships with our lifetime guarantee. If it's not right, we make it right. That's it.
